Important Conference Information

Faint Glow

The Branson Christmas Prophecy Conference features some of the best known Bible Prophecy teachers, authors and experts who will help us decipher what's happening around the world through

a Biblical lens.  This will be a wonderful time of learning, inspiration, encouragement and fellowship with like-minded believers.  We’d like to cover a few things that you’ll need to know before the conference begins.

Getting to Branson, MO:  The two basic modes of transportation for getting to Branson is driving

or flying.  If you're driving, just follow your GPS and you'll be fine.

However, if you're flying, you'll want to fly into the Springfield-Branson National Airport (SGF).

The airport is on the north side of Springfield and is about an hour away from Branson.  You could take an airport shuttle to Branson, but for a little more than the cost of the shuttle, I would suggest renting a car.  The Chateau on the Lake is two or three miles from the heart of Branson and you will really appreciate having transportation and not being 'stuck' at the Chateau.  Trust us on this one.

Conference Check-In:  Check-in for the conference takes place the afternoon of Thursday,

December 5, at the Chateau on the Lake Resort &  Convention Center.  We will post the exact times

as we get closer to the conference.  When you walk through the main doors of the hotel, you'll see

the hotel atrium decorated for Christmas.  You'll turn right, and continue walking past the atrium

where you'll see the conference area.

If you decide to skip Thursday night’s events, you may pick up your lanyard, name badge etc.

on Friday or Saturday morning.

Tentative Conference Schedule:  After Check-in on Thursday, we'll take a break for dinner and start the conference about 7:00 pm.  After the Opening Remarks, we'll have a couple Speaker's Presentations and wrap things up about 9:30 pm.

Friday we'll get started around 9:00 am and go to around 9:30 pm with substantial breaks for Lunch & Dinner.

Saturday we'll start about 9:00 am and go until 5:00 pm with a break for Lunch.  At 5:00 pm we'll have a break for dinner and then head over the the Sight and Sound Theatre for the optional presentation of 'The Miracle of Christmas'.  For those not attending 'The Miracle of Christmas', you'll have the evening free.

Important Note:   We have had several inquiries as to whether or not we'll be providing transportation to the Sight and Sound Theatre.  It would be very expensive (thousands of dollars) to lease 12 motor coaches with a five hour minimum, to travel 15 minutes from the Chateau to Sight and Sound and back.  Most people will have transportation.  One thing about conferences like this, is an incredible feeling of 'family' between like-minded believers.

We're going to match those who need transportation with those who have extra room in their vehicle for the short drive.  It will give everyone involved an opportunity to meet new friends and save a lot of money.  Uber would be another inexpensive option for those who are more independent.

Sunday we'll get started about 9:00 am, have three or four presentations and wrap things up between 12:00 - 1:00 pm.

NOTE: We do not anticipate any at this time, but there is always the possibility of necessary last-minute changes to the current schedule. This could be due to flight delays and other things beyond our control. Please be patient and understanding, knowing we will do everything we can to make this an enjoyable and uplifting experience for everyone.

Parking for the Conference:  There is a lot of conference parking available at the hotel for our conference guests, whether you're staying at the Chateau or somewhere else.

Hotel Address:  The physical address of the Chateau on the Lake Resort & Convention Center is:     415 N State Highway 265/ Branson, MO  65616.

Dining Options:  There are dining options at the Chateau on the Lake and we will be offering four catered meals at the hotel.  We will post information on these meals in the near future.  There's a Sweet Shop with a variety of pastries and coffee drinks.  There's also an Atrium dining section outside the restaurant and a full service restaurant at the hotel.

Attire:  There’s no hard and fast rule regarding dress.  Some of our attendees will dress in business casual.  But most will dress in ‘Branson casual’.  You’ll be sitting a lot.  We want you to be comfortable.

You might want to dress in layers as it will be cool outside.

Resources:  All the speakers will have a variety of books, DVDs and other media pertaining to Bible Prophecy.  You will have plenty of time to see what’s available, meet the speakers and purchase the very latest resources in Bible Prophecy.

We are sorry, but due to difficult experiences in the past, we are unable to allow any animals in the conference area.  The Chateau allows pets on the 3rd floor only, however they require pets to be crated if left alone in the rooms.  Thank you for your kind understanding.

That's about everything you need to know before the conference starts.  We are praying for a mighty move of the Holy Spirit and if there’s anyone that doesn’t know the Lord as their personal Savior, that they would come to know Him in a very real way during this conference.  We appreciate your support of the Prophecy Watchers ministry and your love of Bible Prophecy.  We’re praying for safe travel for everyone and we can’t wait to see you, Lord willing, in December!
